I come as a neutral observer in this, but after my analysis I have come to the conclusion that BoB is unique in EvE and perhaps all MMOs.
No other alliance or guild has been as successful as BoB in EvE or any of the MMO I've encountered. The sheer competence, organization and ability to rally hundreds of players successfully is unmatched.
Mentioned in prestigious publications as the New York Times, BoB has truly reached a place in EvE and MMOs that no other entity has attained.
No alliance has killed more alliances and corporations.
No alliance has survived, valiantly, an assault by more players than BoB.
No alliance sets fear in enemies the way BoB does and has.
No alliance is the envy of all like BoB (but a small vocal minority of eve, goonswarm). You are lying to yourself if you don't want to be in BoB.
No entity has the sheer firepower, high quality members and competence that BoB does.
No alliance has the resources and capital BoB has.
The Age of MAX has begun. No one is safe.
Nothing will survive the assault of 500 capital ships and nearly 30 titans. Nothing like this has ever existed in Eve or any other MMO.
BoB shapes EvE. Bob is EvE. BoB forever!

The swarm hasn't killed BoB. BoB is as alive as ever and a few minor losses to lag are irrelevant.
No more entity has killed more Titans or supercapitals than BoB.
Of all these trolls, none of you have given any reason to dispute why BoB isn't the greatest powerhouse of EvE, or actually, to grace any MMO.

CA was great, but it's not in the same league as BoB. Furthermore, it was a different time and a different game.
CA never killed multiple Titans, won tournaments repeatedly, and made all of EvE quiver in their space boots.

Because of help from a 'friend' who left a loophole in the rules allowing you to outspend the rest on fancy modules and implants. They plugged that hole and lookie here. Bob failed to 10 rax and stopped bothering to enter knowing with about even odds they never can win again.
BoB won the alliance tournaments when they were true tournaments gauging the experience, resources and skill of participating alliances requiring significant investment with correspondingly high value prizes. The alliance "tournament" now just a joke. It's basically a poor PvP arena for low-skill "alliances" to play rock-paper-sissors with little actual skill or investment. Correspondingly, the prizes are lower in value.
Just look at the failures that have won the recent alliance 'tournaments' and how little they've accomplished ingame.
